Only Chapter 30, Chapter 1606/1607, and Chapter 35 recipients may be eligible for Advanced Pay. In order to qualify, you cannot have received benefits the previous semester and we must have your signed request at least thirty-five days prior to the beginning of the semester.
Advance Pay covers the first (partial) and the second (full) month of the semester. When your advance paycheck arrives in our office, usually before the beginning of the semester, we will contact you to come pick it up.
Your regular check for the third month will go to your mailing address or account at the beginning of the fourth month, as you are normally paid the month after the check is “earned.”
To Request Advanced Pay on Your Next Certification:
- Complete and submit a Request for Benefits form, and sign your name on the line that says “Sign Here if You Want Advanced Pay.”
