The Bachelors of University Studies (BUS) program provides students with the possibility of creating an individual major in an area not otherwise available at the University.

Educational Opportunity Programs

Provides the Student Support Services Program for students who may need academic support to continue or graduate from the University and the Upward Bound Program, a college preparation program for high school students from low-income families and/or first-generation college students.

LEAP Freshman Program

Provides an integrated learning experience for entering freshmen. Students take classes together and begin to form their own academic cohort community.

Honors Program

Taxis
There are three main taxi companies in Salt Lake City, and each offers 24-hour service: City Cab, Yellow Cab, and Ute Cab. You can call for service or hail them in the street, but they are not as plentiful as other major cities. Some downtown hotels like the Salt Lake Hilton have taxi stands.
