The University of Utah College of Fine Arts invites you to a two-day orientation, which allows you to meet faculty, advisors, and friends! The College of Fine Arts is home to the School of Music, the Division of Film Studies, and the Departments of Art & Art History, Ballet, Modern Dance, and Theatre. Come prepared with a creative mind and willingness to collaborate with incoming students at the U!
Participants can explore specific departments by speaking with experienced undergraduates, visiting the venues, and speaking with an academic advisor in their field of study. Students will participate in hands-on activities in the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, the Marriott Center for Dance, and other venues.
The Overnight Orientation will assist you in becoming familiar with campus and the Residence Halls. Finally, each student will meet with an academic advisor, learn about graduation requirements, and register for classes.
