Orientation session dates for students admitted for Fall 2012 (starting classes in August) are posted below. Registration for orientation is now open. Please select the program you are interested in below.
Orientation dates, details, and costs are subject to change.
BEFORE attending orientation, you must be admitted, know your uNID and have already set up your uNID password. If you have not done this, click here first to change you password.
BEFORE registering for an orientation all students must read the Student Code. By signing up for an orientation you acknowledge that you have read and understand the Student Code. Students will be held to the Student Code at Orientation.
First-Year Overnight Programs
The dates of the First-Year Overnight Orientation Programs are listed below. Students can choose between a general overnight, appropriate for all incoming first-year students, or a discipline specific overnight, intended for students interested in specific academic disciplines. The cost of each Overnight Orientation Program is $40.

First-Year Outdoor Orientation Programs
Experience a four-day program and explore the unique and beautiful scenery of Utah through wilderness experiences. The cost of the Outdoor Orientation is $199.

First-Year Orientation Programs
At the First-Year Orientation Programs, students will receive information about University requirements, different opportunities available to first-year students, and advising at the U. Students spend both days on campus, but are responsible for arranging their own overnight housing.
