One Day or Combination Orientation.
Parent and Family Orientations occur in conjunction with many of our Freshmen programs.

Overnight Orientation: Overnight programs are created for anyone who enjoys meeting new people and wants a more comprehensive introduction to the University. There are both general overnights, appropriate for all incoming freshmen, as well as discipline specific overnights, intended for specific populations. Overnight Orientations incur a fee of $60 to cover the cost of housing and meals. Refund Policy. Please see the list of dates below and click for further information.

Outdoor Orientation: This program is a four day, three night orientation which includes all of the components of an overnight orientation. Additionally, students will be exposed to the wide variety of recreational activities available throughout Salt Lake City and the Wasatch front. One Day Orientation: A One Day orientation program includes learning about the entering student to-do list, academic departments, general education and bachelor’s degree requirements, academic advising, involvement opportunities, and registering for classes.
