As a parent or family member of a new University of Utah student, you provide an important role in supporting your student as he or she transitions to the U. The Office of Orientation and Leadership Development does not offer Parent and Family Orientations to families of students who begin in the Summer semester; however, we welcome you to attend an orientation program along with your student. Use the freshmen and transfer links to the left to view orientation dates for the Summer semester, and encourage your student to include you as a guest when he or she registers for an orientation program.
