Relationship Difficulties
Having relationship difficulty in college is no new concept to anyone. Lots of people go through new boyfriends, girlfriends and groups of friends while they are trying to figure out their own identity. But sometimes when the person you have been dating for a few months doesn’t want to date you anymore it can make you sad. Sometimes it can make you sad enough so you lose interest in parts of your life like going to school. Sometimes losing a life-long friend can cause you to skip an important assignment. No matter which one of your relationships you are having trouble with, it always has an impact on out lives. In fact in 2006, according to the NCHA (National College Health Assessment), the University of Utah had 14.2% of students that suffer academically from relationship difficulties. Sometimes we can even go into depression (hyperlink to depression article) over issues standing from relationship difficulty. This article will help you identify areas a relationship difficulty and give steps on how to avoid problems that can keep you from reaching your academic success.
