Program Information
Study Site
Berlin, with its rich history as a European capitol and as a prime nexus of the cold war, has also long been a center for study and research. United since the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, the city became Germany’s official capital again in 1999, and is now reliving its reputation of being a cultural, industrial, and bohemian center of Europe and the world. Founded just after World War II, the Freie Universität Berlin is one of Germany’s most progressive universities. The International Summer University, offers unique opportunities for students from around the world to study together—in English—in one of Europe’s leading academic and cultural centers, the new world city Berlin. More information can be found at the Official National Tourism website.
