Rate is $75 per night plus tax. Please specify that you are a student. Payment is due in full at time of check-in.
We encourage you to BOOK EARLY! Rooms fill up quickly. You should make a reservation through the University Guest House Tel: (801) 587 1000 or make a reservation online at www.guesthouse.utah.edu and in the comment box please state that you are a university student.

On-Campus Housing
You may wish to live on campus in the Residence Halls or Apartments that were built for the Winter Olympics in 2002 in Salt Lake City. However, the Residence Halls fill up quickly and you may have to place your name on a waiting list.
HRE (Housing and Residential Education) provides many options for on campus living. All applications, roommate selections, room assignments, and payments are completed online through the Housing U website: http://www.housing.utah.edu/apply.html
All bed linens, cleaning supplies, toiletries and other items are the student’s responsibility to bring or buy. Bed bundles (with sheets and a blanket) are available through HRE. Questions?
In addition, please note that you will be required to purchase a dining plan if you live in the Residence Halls. Please see www.mycampusdining.com/utah for more information on menus and dining plan options.

Family Housing Program
Housing and Residential Education has unfurnished apartments for students with families, these are located next to the residence halls. Also, close to campus are places available for married students, faculty, staff and their families through the University Student Apartments: www.apartments.utah.edu. These apartments are located about 10 minutes from campus by bus, shuttle or car.
Off-Campus Housing
If you’re interested in off-campus housing, visit our Off_Campus_Living link for some tips on choosing where to look around campus. Please note that you may be required to have at least a two-month cash or check deposit available and/or 6 months of U.S. credit history before you can sign a lease agreement for an apartment. However, you may be able to show other forms of payment history instead of U.S. credit.You may also email student clubs to ask for advice or if anyone needs a roommate.
