Non-traditional Student Scholarship

Available to:

Matriculated students, male or female, who are non-traditional students, having had a minimum of a five-year interruption in their undergraduate academic pursuits or single parents.  Applicants must meet a minimum GPA requirement of 2.70, and demonstrate verified financial need.

Application:

Submit the application packet to the Women's Resource Center, to the address above.  The Scholarship Application Packet must contain the following.  A completed, signed Women's Resource Center scholarship application; a brief personal statement that includes responses to application questions (see application for questions) not to exceed two double-spaced typed pages; an official transcript (if you have previously attended a post secondary institution), mailed directly to the Women's Resource Center, or an official transcript in a sealed envelope from the transcript office; (No emailed or student copies will be accepted); a copy of your Federal Student Aid Report for the current year and two Letters of Recommendation, mailed directly to the WRC or in a sealed envelope with your scholarship application, addressing the questions on the application. Osher Reentry Scholarship

Available to:

Applicants who have had an attendance break of at least five years in between high school or college or in their college attendance. Applicants must be between the ages of 25-50. Applicants must be admitted as an undergraduate student working towards a first bachelor's degree, and be enrolled or will be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.

Application:

Submit the application packet to the Women's Resource Center, at the address listed above.  The Scholarship Application Packet must contain the following:  a completed, signed Osher Reentry Scholarship application; a brief personal and goal statement that addresses the questions on the application (the statements may not exceed two double-spaced, typed pages); and a copy of your Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current year.
