Utah Achievement Award

Available to:

Resident entering freshmen and Utah two-year college transfer students holding an associate degree or its equivalent (in quarter or semester hours). Freshmen must have a minimum Admissions Index of 106; transfer students must hold at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Applicants must possess an outstanding record of school and community contributions.

Application:

Applicants must be nominated by school personnel at their high school or college. Nomination forms are sent directly to high school counseling offices and appropriate college offices by the Office of Student Recruitment and High School Services in March.

Special Instructions:

Incoming freshman applicants must take the ACT by December of their senior year in order to qualify for this award. Transfer students must complete the admission process by April 1.
