Nonresident high school seniors who will be entering freshmen, and who are applying for merit and/or leadership and/or diversity scholarships, please use the online Application for General (Freshman) Scholarships form .

Nonresident high school seniors who will be entering freshmen; based on cumulative GPA and ACT/SAT scores, as well as proven leadership abilities, activities, and accomplishments. |

Full nonresident tuition and fees are awarded for a maximum of 8 semesters or until the student receives a baccalaureate degree, whichever comes first. Tuition and fees up to and including 18 hours per semester is covered. The scholarship includes an additional nonrenewable $1,800 cash award divided between the student’s first two semesters at the University. |

Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7 and complete 24 hours of course work (20 of which must be graded) every two semesters. Grades are reviewed after the second, fourth, and sixth semester. |
