Karen Cone-Uemura, Ph.D.
I graduated from the University of Utah in 2008 with my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. My clinical interests, in no particular order, include: PTSD, veterans, substance misuse, diversity/multicultural concerns, neuropsychological evaluation, parenting, and women’s issues. I’m also keenly interested in experiential methods, group process, and spirituality. I am fluent in Spanish/English. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and kitties, running, theater, and quiet times alone. |

Rob Davies, Ph.D. I earned a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2005 and have been licensed as a psychologist in the State of Utah since 2006. My clinical interests include multicultural concerns together with racial battle fatigue and LGB concerns, men’s issues, group psychology, assessment, LDS culture, and trauma. I integrate humanistic and interpersonal theories into my counseling work. I enjoy backpacking, climbing, reading, sleeping, and spending time with my family. |

Megan L. DuBois I earned my undergraduate degree in Community Health Education from Utah State University in 2002. I am currently working to complete my M.S. degree, also from USU. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exercising, and seeing new places. |

A. Glade Ellingson, Ph.D. I am originally from Oregon and completed my doctorate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Utah; I have been a licensed psychologist since 1991. My areas of clinical interest include emotional difficulties (e.g., depression and anxiety) and developmental issues (e.g., identity concerns, relationship problems, family of origin issues). I integrate humanistic, interpersonal, feminist, and cognitive-behavioral approaches in my counseling. Other areas of professional interest include training, clinical supervision, and ethics. I define diversity broadly and continually strive to increase my multicultural awareness, knowledge, and skills. |

Leslie Giles-Smith, B.A. I am a graduate of Brigham Young University where I earned my BA and teaching certificate in Theatre Arts Education. Following graduation I spent 18 years teaching speech and drama classes in public high schools. As a tutor trainer, I focus on assessment, learning styles, communication skills, ethics, and study skills. Outside of work, I enjoy directing and attending live theatre, music, travel and spending time with family. |

Julie Goudie-Nice, Ph.D. I believe counseling is a place where you can expand your strengths, learn new coping skills, and approach difficult situations from a new point of view. I enjoy working from a multicultural perspective, taking into account all aspects of a person’s culture, including race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious/spiritual preference, and age. I recently completed my Counseling Psychology PhD program. In my spare time, I love to hang out with friends, be outdoors, watch movies, read a good book, and play Rock Band. |

Cindy Harling, L.C.S.W. Originally from Los Angeles, I earned my Master’s of Social Work from the University of Utah in 2000. My clinical interests include women’s issues, abuse and trauma, disordered eating/body image, and religion/spirituality concerns. I incorporate an interpersonal, humanisitic and feminist approach in my clinical work. My personal interests are varied and include outdoor activities (hiking, biking, skiing, boating), traveling, movies, reading, spending time with friends and family and my dog! |

Frances Harris, Ph.D. I earned a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Utah in 1984 and have been licensed as a psychologist in the State of Utah since 1985. My areas of clinical interest include women’s issues, multicultural issues, career development, depression/anxiety management, and positive psychology. I integrate humanistic, feminist, and cognitive behavioral theories in my counseling work. I enjoy hiking, gardening, and watching British comedies on PBS. |

Lois Huebner, Ph.D. I earned my doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Colorado State University in 1975 and have been a licensed psychologist in Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Virginia and Utah (since 1994). I have served in faculty, administrative and counseling roles throughout my career and am committed to furthering social justice. My professional interests include women’s issues, life/work balance, adoption, family of origin issues, ADHD and clinical consultation. I work from an integrative perspective, incorporating humanistic, interpersonal, feminist, family systems and object relations approaches. Personally I enjoy the outdoors, my kids, our pets (currently 2 dogs and 3 cats), and being by the water. |

Braden Linn, B.A. I have a bachelor's degree in history from Westminster College in Pennsylvania, and I am currently working on a Master's of Urban Planning at the University of Utah. I am broadly interested in alcohol and tobacco prevention and integrate compassion and empathy in my work. When time permits, I enjoy mountain biking and skiing in the Utah outdoors. |

Jared Neslen, M.Ed., C.P.C.I. I earned my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Utah in 2009. My clinical approach incorporates using cognitive skills, mindfulness-based skills, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) with my clients. My clinical interests include working with individuals and couples who are addressing anxiety, men’s issues, sexuality, and concerns related to religion and spirituality. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the outdoors, laughing with my family and most anything to do with the arts. |

Ryan Randall, L.C.S.W. I attained a Masters of Social Work from the University of Utah in 2003. I have enjoyed expanding my professional experience in areas of substance abuse/recovery, children in foster care service, people with disabilities, and adult mental health issues. I have a particular devotion to working with LGBT and Native American individuals. |

Riddhi Sandil, Ph.D. I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Iowa in December 2008. My clinical interests include women’s issues, trauma recovery, LGB concerns, multiculturalism (in particular race relations and cultural identity formation) and issues affecting international and first generation college students. I approach counseling from a feminist, interpersonal and emotion focused theoretical base. My personal interests include reading, pop culture, traveling, board games, music and spending time with family and friends. |

Gagandeep Singh, M.D. I earned my medical degree at Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi in 1995. I subsequently did my residency in psychiatry at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. I practiced general psychiatry in Iowa for 4 years before moving to Utah to work with psychiatry trainees. Here I primarily work at the University of Utah Medical Center as an Attending Psychiatrist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. I enjoy working with medical students and psychiatry residents besides providing direct clinical service. I am honored to have received teaching awards from my trainees for clinical supervision. I am a board certified psychiatrist and have additional qualifications in the subspecialty of psychosomatic medicine. I have been licensed to practice medicine in Utah since 2005. My areas of clinical interest include the interface of medical and psychiatric issues, multicultural issues, career development, bipolar disorder, and ECT. I like to use a biopsychosocial approach to the practice of medicine. I enjoy painting, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. |

Lauren M. Weitzman, Ph.D. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Utah in 1984 and my doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1992. I have been licensed as a psychologist in the State of Utah since 1995. My interests include collaborative multicultural outreach, work-family balance, and counseling that integrates feminist, interpersonal and cognitive behavioral approaches. I am an avid river rafter and enjoy reading novels and watching independent films. |

Glenda Wilkinson, L.C.S.W. I received my Masters of Social Work from Barry University in 2000 and completed the Drug and Alcohol specialization at the University of Utah in 2006. My clinical interests include couples counseling, substance abuse concerns, impact of family of origin on psychological well-being, concerns around religion/spirituality, diversity issues and working with survivors of abuse/trauma. I am bilingual (Spanish and English) and work from a humanistic, cognitive framework while also examining the issues of multiculturism as they relate to therapy. On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my family (human and animals), friends and being in the great outdoors. |

Jennifer Arm, Ph.D. Hello! I received my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Montana State University in 2005; I recently completed my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at The University of Memphis. As part of my post-doctoral training, I have the opportunity to join the UCC staff. In therapy, I am particularly interested in working with anxiety, relationship concerns, and LGBTQ issues. I consider feminist and interpersonal therapies the base of my counseling work, incorporating other modalities as fits. When I am not working, I am often found outside doing something active like backpacking, jogging, or skiing. |

Courtney Chambless, M.S. I am a doctoral student in Counseling Psychology at Georgia State University. I also hold a Master’s in Professional Counseling from the same institution. My clinical interests include trauma recovery, coping skills training, and anxiety management. I am also passionate about teaching and outreach. I would describe my approach as interpersonal with strong roots in feminist therapies and cognitive behavioral therapies. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, whitewater canoeing, reading, and playing with my dogs. |

Jessica Elder, B.S. I earned my B.S. in psychology from the University of Utah and am currently in my second year of the Masters of Social Work program. I love the University of Utah and am a loyal MUSS member! I believe counseling is a tool to help facilitate individuals in working through road blocks and rediscovering themselves, as well as finding purpose and meaning in their lives. Andrea Knestel, M.S. I am a Clinical Psychology doctoral student at Syracuse University. I hold two Master's degrees, one in Clinical Psychology and one in Marriage and Family Therapy, both from Syracuse University. I am currently in the final year of my Clinical Psychology training program. My clinical interests include working with trauma (particularly sexual trauma), spirituality concerns, relationship problems, and depression and anxiety. My approach to therapy is integrative using emotion-focused, interpersonal, and existential theories. My personal interests include reading, playing board games, rollerblading, and playing tennis. |

Natalie Lecy, B.S. I graduated from Black Hills State University in 2007 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I am currently a second year student in the Masters of Social Work program at the University of Utah. I live to travel, climb, bike, camp, read, garden, play, and relax. I love to work with all types of people from all walks of life. Most of my experience has been centered on working with immigrant and refugee populations. |

Andrew Reichert, M.S., MDiv I am a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at Texas A&M University, where I served as a hall director. I also have a Master’s degree in theology from Duke University, and I used to work in nonprofit. Professionally, I tend to be integrative in my work--often taking a cognitive, positive, or interpersonal approach with clients, and I am interested in LGBTQ concerns, religious/spirituality challenges, and working with student athletes, as well as adjudicated students (i.e., students with sanctions for rule violations). Personally, I enjoy reading, writing, and working out at the gym. |
