COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES SPRING 2010

The University of Utah commencement and convocation ceremonies are held annually at the conclusion of spring semester.  Spring 2010 ceremonies will be held on May 7th for students who are degree candidates for summer 2009, fall 2009 and spring 2010.

Students graduating summer 2010 can participate in the spring 2010 ceremonies. However, they will not be eligible for honors until the 2010-2011 graduation year.

Commencement is held at 9:00 a.m. in the Jon M. Huntsman Center. At the end of the commencement ceremony degrees are conferred en masse by University of Utah President Michael K. Young.

Those unable to attend commencement can watch the broadcast of the ceremony the following day, Saturday, May 8th, on KUED.

In addition to general commencement, each college holds a convocation ceremony, where students are acknowledged individually by degree.
