WelchIt has been an interesting journey in becoming the Director of the Lowell Bennion Community Service Center. My experiences and background have contributed to the process. I was born in Winfield, Kansas and moved to Phoenix, Arizona when I was in the second grade. My family then moved to Santa Barbara, California after I finished 5th grade and I graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1972. I was active in choral music throughout high school and my experiences included a European concert tour of the Madrigal Singers I was a member of.
