KaBOOM!: Volunteers are needed Thursday, Oct. 9th from 8am-3pm at Kearns Little League field on 4865 South 4300 West. Volunteers will help build a playground and fix up the baseball field with KaBOOM! and Kearns PONY Little League. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Downtown Alliance: Volunteers are needed for SLC's First Night 2009 Celebration at the Gallivan Center. Volunteers are asked to work two-hour shifts from 4:00-12:00pm on Monday, Dec. 31st. Responsibilities include set-up, button checking/admissions, tent/activity supervision, etc. Volunteers will receive a gift and two free admission buttons. Tutoring Opportunity: Volunteer to help a 1st grader whose family is unable to afford to pay for tutoring for him. This youth needs someone to tutor him in his studies and help him pass 1st grade. Scheduling is flexible - If you can spend a hour or more with him each week, please contact Sara at 618-9771 or sara.woltz@utah.edu.

LIFT International: Lift International is a non-profit technology firm that supplies tools and technology to disaster agencies. Lift Int'l is looking for volunteers to help in areas including accounting, legal, computer science, and grants. Scheduling is flexible and most work is done prior to a disaster, in preparation.

Utah Learning Alliance: The Utah Learning Alliance needs a volunteer to help with some word processing tasks as soon as possible. For more info or to volunteer, please contact Warner at 638-9122.
