Volunteers are the heart of Bend-in-the-River project. Come meet new people, learn about the native plants and animals along the Jordan River, and make a difference in your community. No experience is required and the scheduling of volunteer projects is flexible.

Group Opportunities:

Now is the perfect time to start planning for spring! Various groups throughout the Salt Lake area volunteer regularly at the Bend throughout spring, summer, and fall. Your group can volunteer on a regular basis or just one time.

Contact Bend-in-the-River at 801-587-9027 to set up a time that works for your group.

Individual Opportunities:

People who are interested in contributing a few hours every week for a good cause can contact the Bend-in-the-River Coordinator to schedule a time to meet at the Bend and join our Site Steward team!

Other Volunteers:

Volunteers may also spend their time helping with office and administrative duties, special events, or with special projects suggested by the project coordinator or the volunteer. Special projects are only as limited as volunteers' imaginations.
