Bend-in-the-River created these lessons to enhance students' knowledge of the environment around them. These lessons were developed by staff and interns of Bend-in-the-River to educate 2nd grade students and English language learners. They meet the standards of the Utah Core Curriculum. The lessons were edited and prepared for online posting and the webpage was created by Jason VanCott, Madeline Romney, and Hoa Huynh; service-learning students in the writing program at the University of Utah.
