Graduation Advising

University College advisers can help new students* understand University-wide Graduation Requirements, interpret Degree Audit Reports (DARs), and select appropriate courses to complete the requirements. UC advisors can also answer questions about fulfilling U of U general requirements with transfer work. Call 801.581.8146 to schedule an appointment. Once a student is admitted into a major, the departmental advisor for that program can help the student understand the specific requirements for the major and assist with completing all university requirements.

*Note: Students who are considering a major in Business, Engineering, Fine Arts, Science, or Mines should see their departmental advisor as soon as possible and will receive assistance with all university requirements there.
