Steve was born many years ago when lefthanders like himself were still ridiculed for the use of the "awkward appendage." The Nation was just starting to recover from the oil embargo of the early 1970's. The urban to rural migration was in full swing only to be halted shortly thereafter by the farm crisis of the 1980's. Steve learned at an early age to cook pizza, burritos, nachos, and Pop Tarts. These staples of life have fueled his efforts as he progressed to where he is today. Steve now coordinates advising for students that are undecided on their major. As part of this endeavor students can attend the Major Exploration EXPO which is held annually each September. Students can also work closely with Steve on choosing a major by taking the course UGS 1050: Major Exploration. Steve received his B.S. and M.S. in Sociology from Utah State University. Seeing as though human blood runs both red and blue (Aggie blue, not that blue from the south) depending on its level of oxygenation the University of Utah was a perfect fit. Steve also loves cycling (and his wife). He rides road, mountain, and cyclocross bikes. Steve's advice: "Eat your greens, don't do drugs, get 8 hours of sleep, ride your bike, and go to class."

She runs marathons (very slowly). She hopes to someday be an amazing telemark skier, but is not quite coordinated enough yet. She does not like vegetables or fruits, but if forced, could manage to eat broccoli, as long as it is bathed in butter and garlic. She also doesn't eat pink things, with bubble gum being the only notable exception. Amanda is also the single parent of an ambitious young lab-like canine named Ralph. She used to get extremely frustrated with Ralph's tendency to chew everything he can see or smell. However, she later realized that Ralph would eat her vegetables when her mother was in town for a visit.

The life of a superhero is a lonely one, filled with hardship and danger. Those who answer the call must leave comfort, safety and often sanity behind. But someone has to stand the heat and stay in the kitchen! Someone has to don the oven mitts of all that's right and strangle the red hot throat of all that's wrong. This is that someone's story. I am the sterling silver ladle of justice pouring its foamy cream over the just picked strawberries of crime. I'm mad at bad, aren't you? Don't be a cry baby, be a try baby! Well, destiny honks the horn of gotta go!
