U of U Transfer Articulation 2009-2010
Transfer Articulation - BYU courses
The purpose of transfer articulation guides is to provide students and advisors with information on how courses articulate between schools. The following information is specific for how departments at the University of Utah will accept courses transferred from Brigham Young University.
This guide identifies articulated courses. It does not indicate how these courses might apply to major and/or institutional graduation requirements. Please use the Getting Ready Guides to see how courses may apply to your desired program.
This guide represents a one-way transfer articulation agreement. This guide specifically shows how the University of Utah receives BYU transfer work. Articulated BYU courses will be listed on the left and the "equivalent" U of U course will be listed on the right.
**PLEASE NOTE: Not all courses offered at BYU will be listed in this guide. The following courses are articulations accepted by the corresponding department at the University of Utah. If a course is not listed, it does not mean that it will not transfer. Students will receive general elective credit for courses that may not have an accepted equivalent or the course may apply to a different requirement. The Admissions Office will send out a "Summary of Transfer Credit" once you are accepted that shows what courses will be accepted to the U. Please talk to an advisor to see how your transfer work will apply to your U of U course work.
Please select the BYU department/prefix to see how your courses will articulate with the U.
